What is Cub Scouts ?
Cub Scouts is a program within the Scouts BSA, that serves youth from from 6 to 11 years old which aims to prepare youth to grow into self-reliant and dependable adults.
It is a place where scouts:
Go on adventures
Work on their character
Acquire skills that will help them later on in life
Have lots of fun.
And most of all, "Be prepared"
It consists of hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the right situations so that they are prepared - for Life.
Cub Scouts is the beginning of Scouting, where they learn basic life skills, all while preparing them for the next stage in the Scouting adventure, Scouts BSA.
